Over the past two years, I have had adenomyosis and a large uterus. I'm 50 years old. My doctor advised me to use the birth control pill for three months. I've finished my two-month course. My period has started again since I stopped using the birth control pill. Should I take a birth control tablet right away to finish the three-month term, or should I wait a few days?
