I haven’t been able to conceive for more than an year and a half now. Visited a OB-gyn here in KSA and in Pak. Ultrasound pelvis, Prolactin, TSH all normal. Husband hasn’t got semen analysis done yet. Question: Are there any other advance tests which i can go through just to make sure everything is alright? I have no medical problems.
Semen analysis should be done as it is a very simple procedure and rules out any male cause. For the wife if the hormones are all normal as well as the ultrasound and if you have regular cycles then you can do the test to check the tubes. The test is called Hsg in which a dye is given that passes through through the vagina uterus and the tubes and an x ray is done to check if there is any blockage. Wishing you all the best.
