Asking For Sister, Female 29, Lahore
My sister is experinecing her first pregnancy few weeks after marriage. She has periods like cramps sometimes which subside after few minutes. Is it normal? Secondly having intercourse during this period allowed? She is very afraid and concious about her pregnancy and is reluctant, but her husband keeps ob insisting. Is it safe?

Hello dear. Intercourse can be done in pregnancy if both partners feel comfortable. But if your sister have cramps plz book online appointment at very less fees so i can guide and treat her better. Take care beta.

Intercourse is safe. But patient needs to be evaluated to make sure about pregnancy. If pregnancy is confirmed then next will be normal or abnormal pregnancy. Then 1st trimester evaluation and antenatal checkup. Now it is up to every one’s choice where patient wants to do her workup. I hope this helps , goodluck.
