Talk to Gynecologist on First Ultrasound In Pregnancy
Asking for Wife, Female, 25 years old, Karachi
I wanted to ask when should I take my wife for the first ultrasound so that the heart beat can be detected. Her lmp was 8th July and according to it 6 weeks would be completed today. Can heartbeat be detected this early or I should for one more week?

its better to delay the scan for about 1 week or so if no problem to ur wife. but if she is having any complaint like pain or spotting u can get her TVS ultasound for heart beat confirmation start taking folic acid tablets once daily
