Talk to Gynecologist on Genital Herpes Or Shingles
Asking For Wife, Female 33, karachi
assalam o alaikum,
my wife is 08 months pregnancy. She contracted Shingles or genital herpes on 26.10.2024.
initially Gynae prescribed Acyclovir 200mg five times a day for five days but wife's condition did not get better. then again, gynae in consultation with Derma prescribed Acyclovir 800mg three times a day for next five days.
is it safe to take such high doses of Acyclovir during pregnancy ?

it's ok ...but shingles r very painful so get some pain killers and bear this pain.take care of baby movements
