Asking for Self, Female, 29 years old, Lahore

I am 18+4 weeks pregnant with twins. I am feeling bloated for past 3,4 days, not properly passing wind and stool.feeling very uncomfortable since yesterday.took ispaghol husk and glycerin suppositories but of no use. What do should I do for relief?I am taking duphaston as my doctor advised me. Moreover fetal movements started around 16 weeks with no specific pattern.since yesterday I can't track them because of my abdominal discomfort.is it a matter of concern? Should I get an ultrasound done ?

-wellcome and thanks for preffering marham for your health Consultation .
- Dear till 16 wks duphaston is advised if their is danger of miscarriage .if no symmotoms ,pregnancy goes well ,no previous history of late 2nd trimester miscarriage then can gradually stop duphaston as body is producing sufficient amount of progesterone itself .
- dietery habits need to be revised ,walk need to be done daily 20 mins .
- have soft light short frequent meals with lots of fruits and vegetables .
- plenty of water .
- avoid hard food or food than can make gasses like cauliflower. potato,
- better to have ultrasound for fetal well being .
- have balanced easily digestable food .
- can have gaviscon syrup .
- walk needed actually after meals .
- sleep on ieft or right lateral.
- Best of Luck

With twins and especially when u are taking duphaston , there can be bloating and constipation. Take antacid and dis flatulent like ulsanic , it will help u . It’s too early for u to see for a pattern of fetal movement s now , some women like women witj their first babies don’t feel fetal movements until 20 weeks so don’t worry about it but get an Usg to confirm the viability and it will add like u can have an anomaly scan at the same time as well
