Talk to Gynecologist on Gynaecological
Asking For Self, Female, 28 Years old, Sarai Alamgir
I am getting married in 3 months. Someone suggested me started taking folic acid tab before your marriage or else there might be complications In conceiving. Asking this because my husband will be with me for 3 months after marriage only, as he would have to move abroad after that. And will come back after two years. Please let me know should I take folic acid tablets? Is it safe?

yes you should start taking at least 1 month before trying to conceive. you can stop taking it if you are not pregnant and your husband goes abroad. if you get pregnant then continue it for first 3 months of pregnancy
