Asking for Self, Female, 27 years old, Karachi
I've just had a normal delivery on 20th April with episiotomy. It's almost more than 2 weeks and I still feel pain/ discomfort while sitting . I've also noticed some redness around the perineal stitches and are tender to touch. Are these signs of infection? I'm taking sitz bath . Should I be applying something on it or anything to make it better? My doctor is not in town I need to know if they're getting infected.

continue ur med as adv by ur Doc and sitz bath is must
dear patient
avoid pressure on episiotomy wound. maintain good sitting position with help of cushions
sitz bath twice a day
avoid constipation ,straining .
take protein rich diet plus vit c to get good wound healing
report if you feel feverish ,or pussy discharge ,pain gets worse.

Doctor prescribed me cesphan for first five days and mycitracin for the first week. My doctor won't be here till Saturday, can I take any antibiotic to stop the infection to spread ?

use fami wash lotion for washing ur area and use polyfex and healit cream to heal the wound fibo sachet for constipation if needed and plz visit ur Doc if it's not possible video consultation via Marham to me for other discussion
