I was advised to take zoladex on my day 21 of cycle (which I took on 22nd November but I had mid cycle bleeding for 3 to 4 days (13th nov to 16nov) so I wasn't sure if it was period or withdrawal bleeding but I took the injection anyway as I was prescribed) my 2nd injection is due after 4 weeks (20th December). I have been prescribed zoladex 3.6mg before starting ivf treatment. I recently developed a chocolate cyst of 4.1cm in right ovary and 2.9cm hemorrhagic cyst in left ovary. I had bilateral cystectomy last year 2019 October. Technically, my period should have arrived by now (2 days late according to actual LMP 2nd November) I want to ask if that mid cycle bleeding was period then it is something to worry about that I had taken zoladex on wrong time during follicular phase day 10 which I was supposed to take in day 21? Please help I'm worried. My appointment is after 2 weeks.
aoa no need to worry actually you some time irregular bleeding occur becoz of hormonal changes ...
no need to worry as zoladex should be taken on 21st day of after zoldex u ll not be having any periods till you are on this is the best treatment available for endometriosis and it is needed before IVF
