Asking for Self, Female, 24 years old, UK

My periods are 15 days overdue, which is not typical for me. I normally get periods at exactly the 28 day mark or 2 3 days late for the past 8 to 9 months. Pregnancy tests are negative on different strips. No early pregnancy symptoms or PMS symptoms experienced except slight pain in lower back occasionally. I had an ultrasound recently which showed multiple cysts on my ovaries, which is not a surprise as I was diagnosed 6 years ago. I was taken off metformin during Ramadan this year as my blood sugar levels were dropping. I have started metformin again 3 days ago. Is there a possibility of me being pregnant although the urine tests have been negative? In the UK we aren’t handed out ultrasound reports and blood tests cannot be done without doctors reference.

beta hcg report is needed...but as you are already diagnosed with multi cystic ovaries this delay can be due to hormonal imbalance as well...wait for few days more ...if no bleeding consult the doctor

I went to the GP, he said I should just consider it as a missed period (although it’s not typical for me) and wait for my next period. He refused to refer me for a blood test. Just said I need to loose weight and everything will be back to normal. Which makes sense but I have been overweight for years and have had PCOS for years as well, I have never been 3 weeks overdue on my periods. I will wait a few more weeks and see what happens. Thank you for your responses xx
