My friend has been a patient of severe pcos since last 5 years.She had complications in conceiving and had 2-3 miscarriages but Alhumdulillah she is a mother of 2 now. She had her second baby 10 months back and after that her monthly cycle became better.This month she started having bleeding even when it was not her date, it continued for 2 weeks.She went to her gynaecologist and doctor asked her to get an ultrasound done.In ultra sound they found a 6cm cyst in her right ovary. Which was not there 10 months before when she had U/S done for baby. In 10 months, 6cm cyst made doctor worried. She asked about family history of cancers. Unfortunately, her grandmother had bloodcancer, and a first cousin of her father had breast cancer. Doctor has prescribed Cefspan , onamed, primolut.N for 3 weeks. After that she is required to get an U/S done and if cyst persists, she is asked to get CA-125 done.

Hi, thankyou for the responses I highly appreciate.
I want to share an update that after taking cefspan, onamed and primolut-N for more than a week, she has started to have heavy periods. Way heavier than ever. She is experiencing bodypain and weakness with this. Also as you asked, no nausea, vomiting or weightloss have been observed.
She can go for ca-125 test and u/s once the periods are over but please guide what this heavy flow might mean?
