Talk to Gynecologist on Gynaecology/endocrinology

i am seven months post partum was having a problem of continuous bleeding since 2 months. last Monday i went to my OBGYN she prescribed me teresmine for 3 days 3 times a day and duphaston for 20 days 10mg twice a day. i had a dip in bleeding. like it became very light and more then a spot once a day. but since yesterday i am having a serge in bleeding again. like not too much but it's clear red now. what could be the reason only 8 days passed since I'm using duphaston. she said periods will come once you stop using this medicine. can anyone guide please
