Hello Doctor,

I would like your advice regarding my wife’s next pregnancy and the possibility of a normal vaginal delivery after a previous C-section (VBAC).

My wife had her first C-section more than two years ago. During her first delivery, labour started naturally, and we took her to the hospital. The doctors tried to proceed with a normal delivery, but the baby did not descend, so they eventually performed a C-section.

We are now planning for another pregnancy and would like to know whether VBAC may be a safe option for her in the future.

Could you please guide us on:

1. Whether she may be a suitable candidate for VBAC. 2. What medical records or examinations are needed before planning pregnancy. 3. What risks we should be aware of and how we can prepare for a safer delivery.
