Hello Doctor, ​I am reaching out for advice regarding some concerning symptoms. My periods have become irregular; my last cycle was on July 9th. For the past week, I have been experiencing intense vaginal itching, burning, abdominal pain, and back pain. I also feel very lethargic. ​Additionally, I have noticed a thick, greenish-yellow discharge that has a yogurt-like smell. I am very worried because these symptoms closely match those of trichomoniasis. However, I am a virgin, so I am confused and concerned about what could be causing this. Could you please guide me on what steps I should take, potential causes, and if there is anything I should be doing to manage these symptoms? Any expert advice would be greatly appreciated.
