My wife was pregnant for two months. After checking from one doctor, he said the embryo is of 8 weeks, no cardiac activity and is dead, so he give medicine for its abortion. But we checked from another doctor and he said that embryo is of 45 days, and it cannot be predicted wether it is dead or alive, so wait for 15 days and then get check up, and don't use the medicine. What could be the problem of dead embryo. It is connected with low sperm count? I have low sperm. jazakallah

yes it might be...consultancy prior to plan pregnancy required to help having healthy germ cell
did a previous ultrasound showed a positive cardiac activity or this was a first ultrasound ??
no cardiac activity at 8 weeks is a missed miscarriage and needs to be terminated
its not the sperm count but the sperm quality/ genetic makeup that may contribute to this but there are many other factors that may lead to a spontaneous miscarriage, specially of first trimester
