Talk to Gynecologist on Gynecologist - Change Period Days With YAZ

If i take YAZ on day 8 of my cycle this month, will that mean I will have my next period in 24+8 days from the start of current cycle? Today is day 3. I’m starting birth control pills due to simple cyst in ovary but i want to tweak them a bit this month so my period doesnt fall on the dates that im traveling on and it involves water sports and activities. Definitely don’t want to be bleeding those days. Or is it better to skip the placebo this month and extend my cycle to another month by taking only the active pills and skip one period cycle altogether? Would appreciate your suggestions. Can primolut N be taken to delay for 2-3 days along with the birth control?
