Talk to Gynecologist on Gynecology
Asking for Sister, Female, 33 years old, Lahore
AOA. My sister (pregnant 22 weeks) is getting clexane injection 60mg as prescribed by her gynecologist, on alternate day. (She had a case of IUD on 30 weeks due to IUGR in Dec 2017) But now she heard from another dr that clexane is a daily dosage, not alternate or weekly. Please guide me wether it will be effective on alternate day? Or she is just wasting her time and money. Its been 3.5 months she is getting this on alternate day.

She should be taking it on daily basis. The therapeutic dose is usually given on daily basis.
You can shift to daily injections after consultation with your gynecologist .
