Pls keep my identity hidden

Hello dr I got my 3rd c section done on 21st of september and an IUD was inserted at the time of operation... All went fine and on 5th of nov i got my regular periods but with very heavy bleeding which i never encountered before in my life... dr told me that sometimes it is normal upto 3 months and prescribed me transamin and ponston forte for 3 months at the time of regular bleeding and now my periods started at 6th of this month with very heavy flow and also taking my medicine... I have not done any latest reports... I just want to ask is it normal? Otherwise what type of treatment i should follow? I have no medical history

yes it's normal iucd usually takes 6 months to get normal there is heavy flow in almost every patient.
during your cycle days take ponstan forte and transamin and you can also take iron suppliments.
But if you feel that you can't tolerate the flow n it's affecting your daily activity then do consult your doctor
