#anonymouspost I have a query... We are trying for our 2nd baby, my elder is 4.5 years old... I use a cycle tracking app, for the past 6-8 months my cycle has been around 25 days and I would always get my period 2-3 days before the predicted date on the app. So the issue is that we tried conceiving fully utilizing my ovulation and fertility period ... I didn't get my period on the predicted date and upon the 8th day of missed period just when I decided to take a pregnancy test as I was pretty sure that I am pregnant but I got my period. It was heavy bleeding the first day which slowed down and almost stopped midday on the 2nd day... After that I only had some brownish spotting on the 4th day. I did a pregnancy test too but it came back negative. So here is my query which might seem baseless to a doctor... What could be the possible reason of a delayed period when I have had no recent history of delayed period for a year or so ... Was this bleeding a period or very early miscarriage? Pl
do you have any recent weight gain? delayed period could be due to many reasons , hormonal imbalance stress exercise environmental factor...if it occurs again then get treatment....
normal menstrual cycle is from 21 to 35 days, its normal
The variation in menstrual cycle uptill 7 days possible.
It may be due to fasting, hormonal changes, stress, excercise etc
if pregnancy test negative it means that was your period bleeding
many factors affect cycle lenght and blood flow
just observe your next cycle if same problem occur then get consultation
as you are planning to conceive take folic acid one tab daily basis
