Talk to Gynecologist on Having Children After Marriage

Aoa. it's almost 6 month that I have married and since me and my husband are both student and currently studying we want to make children at least after 2-3 years later but I have heard from a friend that having sexual life with partner without having baby in our first year of marriage will result into problems later on and it may couse even to no children in future..! can you plz guide me if it's true ? if yes, then shall we avoid sex till we decide to come with baby after 2-3 years? Thanks.
