Yes. You need further testi'g. You may be carrier of thelassemia so you get your genetic testing done. If you turn out to ba carrier, your Hb may drp below normal levels sometimes for which you can take oral iron. After marriae, your husband and contacts are not at risk but 50percent of your offspring may be carriers only in case you turn out to be positive.
