Head Lice In Pregnancy

Question

I am in my fourth month of pregnancy, my maid got head lices due to which I also got head lices. They are so painful for me. can I use ivermite tablet? or there is any other solution to treat lices as soon as possible. I am in so much stress.

no ivermectin is not safe in pregnancy..

Do not use ivermite in pregnancy.use lice comb 3 to 4 times in a week and use English antilice shampoo and also get your maid head cleared of lice.

Aoa no need for medication. These are not safe especially in early pregnancy. You can wash your hair by putting white  vinegar in water and combing your hair with lice comb daily. Repeat this after ten days also. Thanks
