Talk to Gynecologist on Hyperthyroidism & Breast Finding. Seeking Medical Advice Regarding My Mother (53F).

Over the past 6–7 months, she has lost around 12-14kg along with weakness. She previously had a prolonged cough/phlegm issue, which improved significantly after treatment. During her recent medical evaluation, her thyroid tests showed very high Free T3 (13.38; ref. 3.2–6.8) and Free T4 (25.01; ref. 9.01–19.05), suggesting hyperthyroidism. Also a recent breast ultrasound also showed a 4 mm non-mobile echogenic lesion within a dilated duct of the left breast. No vascularity was seen, and the axillary lymph nodes appeared benign. The report mentions ductal papilloma vs. papillary carcinoma and recommends further work-up/biopsy.
Would appreciate advice from doctors, particularly regarding the breast finding and appropriate next steps, and whether any connection could exist between these issues.
