Talk to Gynecologist on Iron Infusion
Asking for Self, Female, 26 years old, Lahore
I am 36+5 weeks hb is 11.1 g/dl and ferritin is 8ng/ml. My gynaecologist has advised me to habe 3 infusions of venofer on alternate days (total 6 ampules ,2 in each infusion).. Its fine to have iv iron at such hb? Any risk of toxicity?
I think you should take oral iron only . If you are not able to tolerate the oral iron.
