Asking for Self, Female, 27 years old, Rawalpindi
I am a pcos patient. After taking omatril from 3rd day of periods for 21 days, i had periods on 21 jan then doctor prescribed me to take duphaston from 15th day for 15 days but it's 10th day (31 Jan) and i have had again my periods. Please suggest me what to do now, when should i take duphaston? Which day is 15th day bcz i had two periods in a month? Duphaston does not stop my bleeding, should i take omatril?

hormonal medicine is nt the treatment for your condition...it ll temporarily make your periods normal and as soon as u leave hormonal medicine ur periods ll again become ir regular...so for treating the cause and prescription of appropriate medicine v need to do ur hormonal profile and specified full bladder pelvic scan...PCOs is fully treatable if right medicines are given over a prescribed time period...my advice is to take second opinion from another doctor...
