Walk a lot . That will help u . Atleast half hour everyday.
I suggest u to trust in ur own obstetrician to follow her advice, as she is most responsible for ur labour n delivery.
walk daily for 30 minutes.
take hot shower bath.
sit in warm water filled tub.
these are some aids for progression of labour.

uptil 4cm its inactive stage of labour...if ethg going normal then dont hurry...let the nature takes its time...
keep a watch on fetal movements, any increased discharge per vaginum tht reaches ur ankle, keep ur BP checked as well...
