Talk to Gynecologist on Light Period After Duphastan

Hi there, I have PCOS and my periods are irregular. My LMP was on 31-Jan. Dr. prescribed duphastan (twice daily for 5 days). after 3 days of stopping the pill I got dark and thick bleeding which was very light. my usual period is not that thick or light. and today (11/5/23) on second day of bleeding, i only had on and off spotting. i had to start using FAM-21 on first day of my cycle which i started but after seeing no bleed for more than half a day, I'm concerned. does duphatsan really cause light periods? and was i right to start FAM-21 on my first day of bleed?

Duphaston does not cause light bleeding . As you started Famila 21 on first day , bleeding decreased , better to start it on fifth day .

duphastone is not the reason of light bleeding its your hormonal disturbance which take time to resolve its better to give your detail history about your body weight and other feature of PCO and also send your report here so that I will guide you properly its better to take appointment but if not possible than atleast send your reports here
