Asking For Self, Female 29, Gujranwala

Hello doctors. My period got lighter a year and a half ago. Since then, Its getting lighter and lighter every month (I have regular periods every month), and I gained 16 kg weight after this problem. I am a married woman with daughter aged 7. I didnt get physical in these 7 years.. I am sharing this info because One of the doctors I counsulted with, told me that having no intercourse for a very long time is affecting my hormones and that's why my period got light. please tell me if this is true or not. and what should I do to increase the blood flow. TIA

I forgot to mention, I tried losing weight by HIIT ×4 a week.. and I walk regularly. My weight just doesn't go down. I feel good by working out thats why I keep doing that. But it doesn't have any effect on my weight. My diet isn't very good I eat fast food every weekend. Other days I eat healthy food. The thing is, first my period got light and after a couple of months My weight started increasing. My weight was 62 before this abnormality in period, now Its 76+.
