aoa doctor...i m first time pregnant this is my 36th week my hb is 9.3...can i go with some drips for HB at this stage...? qk mn ny suna a k itni late akhri time py drips ni lg skti apko ab blood hi lgy ga...plz guide me.
9.3 is low but no need for blood transfusion until God forbid you have some major haemorrhage ,
you can have iron transfusion at this stage as well depends on your cause for anameia
we transfuse blood at below 8 or symptoms of severe anaemia
Iron drips can be given after checking cause. Blood iron level and haemoglobin electrophoresis may also be needed. Discuss with your family
