Talk to Gynecologist on Lump In Breast At 8th Month Of Pregnancy And Baby Boy Got Delivered 12 Days Ago

person-avatar

Asking for Wife, Female, 27 years old, Rawalpindi

Assalam o alakum My wife was in pregnancy from 12-Dec-2018 to 2-Aug-2019. At 2-Aug 2019 baby boy was delivered normal at NESCOM hospital. But around 3-4 weeks before delivery(7th-8th Month of pregnancy), small lump was found in right breast and it started to grow upto 5cm. in 2 weeks. Then it stopped growing and now it is around 5cm and has same size for last 2 weeks. In last 2 weeks my wife also delivered my baby. And she is also breastfeeding him. Now its about a month and that lump is not going. I tried to get an appointment from breast surgeon but due to delivery and eid holidays i could not make it up to the doctor. Now i am worried what should i do. ? Here is the ultrasound report attached but its just the report of gynecology department, They are not expert in breast field, so may be a breast surgeon can differ with this report.

Aoa
galactoceole is usually infection free...so it has no pain...diagnosis+treatment is needle aspiration of the cyst under antibiotic treatment...
so better c a general surgeon for all the mx and treatment...
all the best...
