Talk to Gynecologist on Mild Pyuria In Pregnant Lady
Asking for Sister, Female, 30 years old, Karachi
My sister is 13weeks pregnant. Dr advised her to get urine d/r and c/s. Report shows infection and presence of k. gave her cefixime and asked to repeat the test after taking antIbiotic for 3days, now test is showing infection and presence of k. pneumoneae and p. aeroginosa. please tell me is this a serious issue which precautions should she take now

1) aap ki picture mey jaraaseem ka colony count nazar nahi aa raha. report ki reliability key liye lab ka hona zaroori hai.
urine culture ki reliabilty key liye, it is important to know if patient collected her sample with correct procedure.
2) more than 1000 (10 to the power 3) colony forming units of bacteria on urine culture during pregnancy should always be treated
3) cefixime for 3 days is no kind of treatment course for klebsiella
