Asking for Sister, Female, 37 years old, London
My sister has experienced 2 miscarriages in two years of marriage both within the first 3-6 weeks maximum. She recently got her pelvic ultrasound and her GP has hinted towards “ partial septate uterus“ however she has had her scans in teenage due to irregular periods and later in her pregnancies dey did scan and nothing of this sort was diagnosed. Pls advise
Aoa
can u send the pic fr review?
hope due to repeated evacuations she has not developed send the pic in wch she was diagnosed wth septate uterus
Diagnostic hysteroscopy should be done to rule out septate uterus
It can be therapeutic as well.
And yes this can cause early miscarriages and it is treatable.
TVS r not good modalities for diagnosing this.
We can go for hysterosalpingograph to diagnose it.
