I went through a missed miscarriage on 2nd of November last year. I was 12 weeks pregnant and went for my Nuchal Translucency scan but during the scan I found out that the baby had stopped developing at 8 weeks and there was no heartbeat. I had to go theough a d&c the next day and after my d&c i just had a little bit spotting for three days and then nothing for a week amd then after a week brownish doscharge for 2 days. And ever since then I’ve had no period and it’s been 9 weeks to my d&c. What could be the reason? Is it normal? I’m just stressing alot. I also discovered during my pregnancy that I’m thal minor and low on vid D and Iron

Was it your first pregnancy??this was your first scan?? What was your LMP?? What were your clinical findings spotting cramps etc... Any other investigations done before this scan,,,

Yes this was my first pregnancy and this was mu second scan first scan was normal with healthy heartbeat at 7 weeks? I had nothing no spotting no cramps nothing. Just went for another scan at 12 weeks where I got to know the baby stopped developing at 8 weeks and no heartbeat. They call it a missed miscarriage. Nope no such investigation done before the scan. My lmp was after the d&c it was just light spotting for 3 days.

No, this was my first ever pregnancy and my blood group is B+ And no abortion or any children. I’m concerned because I did not het my regular period after d&c. Its been over 9 weeks
