Nasal Conjestion And Cough During Pregnancy

Question

Suffering from Nasal conjestion plus white thick mucus discharge through mouth n nose. Quite sticky that I Have to drive out by force... No cough... but when mucus in throat is pushed hard by lungs, it intensely jerks to whole abdomen....... can I apply vicks to ease nasal conjestion xynosine syrup is safe in this condition???? . I am doing gargles regularly.....
