Talk to Gynecologist on No Periods After Stopping Birth Control
Asking for Self, Female, 24 years old, karachi
I gave birth via c section past year in september. As a method of birth control i got injections. After getting novaject injection which is effective for two month my periods stopped and last time i had my periods in january. Afterward i switched ti another method i.e. condom because of certain reasons. My injectikn expired on 13 july 2017. Its been three months my periods are not back. I am worried what should i do now i have checked i am not pregnant
The use of progeterone injections is associated with amenorrhea ( absence of periods sometimes) , irregular bleeding and delay in fertility return . So there is not much to worry.
Get a pelvic scan and FSH levels done and let me know
