Asking for Self, Female, 31 years old, dubai
I am 31, weight 71 height 5 feet 2 inch and married last year and unable to conceive. I always had very less flow of periods, fast weight gain (feels like water retention). Periods were irregular and due to facial hair i got treatment with Diane-35. Periods become regular with that but after leaving i experience same problem again. I am not diabetic but have approximately 5.8 level. Now i am not having periods for months as i gained 8 kg after marriage and have only brown discharge. After my scan in Pakistan dr said i don't have pcos that was ruled out a few years ago by one doctor. Now in dubai too, both radiologist and dr scans show that i am less likely to have pcos but thyroid level is high. I want to take aa second opinion. My dr prescribed euthyrox 50ug and asked me to visit endocrinologist. Please tell me if i can conceive with these hormonal levels and egg reserves. Do my reports show something else than thyroid issue. Will thyroid problem be resolved with medication and i wo
Aoa reports suggestive of pcos and this can be due to subclinical hypothyroidism. U should consult endocrinologist and start with Thyroxine if advised by him. Your ovaries are functioning good. So you start with diet, Exercise and proper consultation. Do not be panic pcos effects all the system. Blood sugar , lipid profile and periods everything is disturbed at subclinical level. Thanks

Thank you doctor for such a detailed and encouraging answer. Can you please answer one more thing, dr suggested that we should not delay pregnancy as i have lower egg reserves. What does that mean? I will visit my endocrinologist soon and book an appointment with you to discuss my case further. Thank you.

Thank you coz we keep all the factors in view. As some hormone are on higher side. Normally fertility decline when we cross 30 and rapidly after 35 years of age.
