Talk to Gynecologist on Not Pregnant Yet

Hi. I got married on 18th,march 2017 its been 10 months and few days and still not getting pregnant. My age is 21 and husband is 25. Both of our test are clear. I want to know if this much delay is normal as doctors are asking us to wait till 12 months for medication. Please suggest me some gud doc aswell!
