i wanted to know the procedure for ogtt test in i visit hospital for this test in evening after fasting for eight hours?

minimum fast as per my knowledge is 6 better to b done in morning...
Step1:fast for 6 hours
Step2:Fasting blood sugar levels
Step3:they ll giv u sugar solution to drink
Step4:ur blood sugar levels ll b checked again aft 1 hour of taking the sugar solution
Step5:again ur blood sugar levels ll b checked aft 2 hours
remember not to eat bw the blood tests aft taking sugar solution.
FBS:Should b less than 100mg/dL
RBS 1:Should b less than 180mg/dL
RBS 2:Should b less than 155mg/dL
pregnancy levels for sugar levels r different than the non pregnant sugar levels
