Talk to Gynecologist on Ovulation Bleeding

person-avatar

Asking for Self, Female, 25 years old, lahore

Hi doctor, I need advice regarding bleeding between my periods. My periods are usually regular and normal, but for the past few months I’ve been having bleeding around the time of ovulation. This time, I’ve been bleeding for about 4 days and the blood is dark red. I’m also experiencing mild cramping and some bloating. I recently took an emergency contraceptive pill, so I’m wondering if that could be contributing to the bleeding. I’m concerned because the bleeding has been recurring for several months. Could you please advise me on what might be causing it and whether I need any tests or treatment to stop/control the bleeding?
