Talk to Gynecologist on Ovulation (trying To Conceive)

Experienced doctors guidance required, i have usual 35 days cycle (minor PCOS), sometimes it goes to 38 or 40 as well. I am skeptical about healthy ovulation. Does healthy or mature enough eggs happen which can help to conceive? I have consulted with dr zeryab setna, he is a very nice dr and suggested to try naturally for a year on the basis of all my reports (everything is normal in reports) and even for PCOS he said it’s minor nothing to worry about in it, he refused for taking any treatment right now after a year if we failed so he will suggest treatment. Please doctors guide me for the ovulation part as if ovulation is not occurring or healthy enough then how can I conceive naturally?
