Talk to Gynecologist on Pain In Armpit And Breast

Hello. I am 8.5m pp. My baby stopped taking breastmilk since she was 3m old. It was all fine but its been almost 2 months or a bit more that I am experiencing pain in left breast and armpit. Earlier, it was swollen too because milk was still there. I did hot fomentation and expressed the milk and it got better. Now the breast is in normal shape but it pains on and off near the armpit area and in the armpit itself. Is it something alarming? If yes, which tests to I need to go through?

I also did not get my period this month and the pregnancy tests are negative (did twice; once after 12 days of date and once after over two weeks). From the last three months, my period dates are fluctuating a lot. They used to get delayed by a week or so every month by this time i did not get it at all. I have heard this can also cause breast pain?
