person-avatar

Asking for Self, Female, 29 years old, Lahore

Aslam o alaikum. I would like to know the answer urgently if possible. Last month, upon TVS I was diagnosed with PCOS. I don't have any particular symptoms except weight gain but that majorly due to unhealthy eating habits. Anyways doctor prescribed me Glucophage (500 mg) to take twice in a day, Locyst and Inorain-d for one time daily. Plus I have changed my eating habits as well as started walking. On 17 July I missed my periods but on 22 got spotting for one time, continued for 23 and on 24 there was nothing. I am nauseous all the time and having light menstrual cramps. I did pregnancy test on 22 and it was negative. Not from 25 light bleeding continue for 3 days and then stopped. Problem is now I can't eat anything. I lost appetite and I am nauseous with light back pain. Did pregnancy test again but it was negative. My gyne told wait and see but the conditions getting worse. She said the medicines has no side effects. Is it glucophage side effects? What should I do as I am not well

Most probably these r side effects of tab glucophage . Take the tab between meals and see . If same condition persists then u have to stop glucophage. Also with inorain d u can take tab motilium .
