Asking For Self, Female, 28 Years old, khi
I’ve had pcos since 9 yrs ive been taking insulin sensitisers such as glucophage and piozer for regulating the cycles, I’ve always been skinny and underweight all my life yet ended up with pcos, earlier my prolactin was high and lh/fsh ratio was messed up, then i got married and gained 10 kgs in 3-4 months rapidly, however didn’t notice anything wrong a yr later i also had a baby, now my baby is almost 3 and im still taking glucophage never stopped. This yr I gained 10 more kgs suddenly even when i had reduced my portion i could sense there was something wrong with my body and it was high insulin, my insulin levels were never high earlier until this time they were slightly elevated. Now my question is that Ive always taken metformin religiously but still ended up with high insulin, i’m tired of taking these medications now and i just want to shift to other options like exercise, lifestyle modifications and supplements like myo-inositol. Can any dr recommend me the best ones ? No dr ha
