Talk to Gynecologist on Periods
Asking for Self, Female, 33 years old, Rawalpindi
I am 8 months post partum with normal delivery ..i am ebfeeding my baby. I didnt have periods after the initial 40 days. I am not pregnant .we are going for umrah next Wednesday for a week. I just want to know should I take anything to delay periods ?

if u want to delay, you should take some medicine because more chances are cycle will be started after 8 months of lactation.
Breastfeeding can induce amonerrhea.
But if she is going for umrah, do a urine pregnancy test if it is
negative, then reply me....

If you are not having periods then no need to take tablets
If your periods are coming regularly then take tablets to delay periods
