Talk to Gynecologist on Periods

Aoa. i want to ask can we take bath during periods? if yes then daily or in first day or after 3 days or something?? because someone told me that taking a shower during periods can cause blurping from fronside which happens from back in real and i was taking shower in 2nd day or maybe 3rd day when i was a child. so i am feeling that its happening now with me for 2 to 3 years is it real or i'm just illustrating?? but i can really feel it
