Talk to Gynecologist on Periods Delay- Pill

Hi I’m going for umrah next week 25th dec, my periods are due that week too. A dr friend recommended primolut-n for 10 days, 3 days prior the estd day to delay the periods, I’m on cycle day 30th today (19th dec) and my last few cycles have been a bit late like 33-34 days in length, i also have pcos for which i do take glucophage so it’s in control but because of pcos i’m a bit hesitant to take primolut as I’m afraid it won’t mess up more with hormones. Secondly is it okay if the length of the tablet exceeds 10 days ? As my stay is prolonged. Kindly pls advise urgently. Thanks
