Talk to Gynecologist on Periods Skipped

I am 25 and married but in a long distance marriage since 1 year , for the first time my periods were skipped mostly my periods last for 3 days this time they lasted for 7-8 days and it was only brown discharge through out , after 5-6 days I took emergency pill and it’s been 7 days and there is no break through . Can anyone guide me
