Talk to Gynecologist on Periods- Stomach Upset

Hi, everytime i have my periods my stomach gets upset right after periods starts. I have to go to washroom 3,4 times in an hour and then the cramps feel a little better. This only happens on the first day and that too only when periods start after that it gets normal on its own. This has been happening since the last 4,5 years, should i take ispaghol to make it normal cuz it makes my period cramps even worse! Thanks
