Talk to Gynecologist on Perisac Bleed In Ultrasound

person-avatar

Asking for Self, Female, 30 years old, Karachi

Hi,

I am 7-weeks pregnant. I was prescribed an ultrasound by my doctor for dating and viability. The ultrasound showed normal fetal cardiac activity. However, it also showed that I have an area of perisac bleed, even though I have not bled yet. I have been trying to get an appointment of my doctor. The hospital is giving me an appointment of 10 days from today.

I have the following questions to ask:

- Is the area of perisac bleed large? What is its size? - What precautions should I take until I am waiting to get a doctor's appointment? - Is bed rest necessary?

Please attach written report of ultrasonologist. Where do you live?? You should consult another gynaecologist so that you are seen earlier. Meanwhile continue bed rest and take folic acid.
