Salam.i had scan today which shows chances of placenta accreta.36 weeks pregnant.position of baby is cephalic now.baby weight is 2.8kg.AFI is normal.my doc discussed abt hysterectomy to b done.as accurance of accreta is possible.should i go with this?its a big decision for me as i hav only 2 daughters nd its my 3rd baby.

Your life is more important and may Allah blesses with healthy long life. For placenta accreta we always proceed with hysterectomy plans.

-Dear in scan its suspected that u might have placenta accreta..... Isn't it??
-In this case u will have difficult surgery that may end up into cesearean Hysterectomy.
-Dear u will need Expertise hands for surgery in multidisciplinary set up with proper blood arrangement.
-better hands could effort to avoid Hysterectomy.

Thanks you do Doppler use to make sure placent is acreta there is chances of uncotrable bleeding which is only controlled by doing hysterectomy but if no acreta then there are others methods to control bleeding it will be at time of cs
You don’t have a choice for that. Hysterectomy is the last life saving option to save a mother with accreta bleeding heavily. All the very best
